The next step is the printing process. You decide on the sizes and number of prints in your edition and we begin to print.
- Blue Water Editions prints by the sheet on the Iris printer, and by the square foot on the large-format Roland. The more sheets you print at once, the less expensive each print is.
- With prints on paper, you also have the option of having the prints cut to size or torn to simulate a deckled edge. The deckle gives your client more framing options.
- After printing, the digital file is stored on a CD for future orders. The disk and proofs belong to you, but the approved, signed proof stays in-house with your digital file so we can match it to subsequent printings.
- Reorders can be handled by phone—typically in five to seven working days.
